Brandon’s longest established independent estate agents, Whichelows, have built up a strong reputation over the years as a friendly and knowledgeable firm with staff always happy to give help and advice on property matters.
Jason & Selena Whichelow and their family have lived in Brandon since 1980 and opened their first estate agency office in the High Street the same year. Selena came into the firm in 2005, and brought in useful knowledge of the coveyancing process, having worked for solicitors in the past. Dianne has worked for them for over 10 years and has gained valuable experience in that time, specialising in handling rent invoices and enquiries.
In recent years, people have increasingly depended upon the internet to find properties, rather than spending a lot of time and effort visiting local estate agents' offices and in 2008 Jason & Selena took the view that they no longer needed a prominent position in the High Street. Consequently, they are relocating to Northumberland House in Bury Road, a few hundred yards from the town centre.
Now that the firm no longer deals with properties for sale, 100% of office time is devoted to dealing with rentals. Landlords can therefore be assured that their properties are managed locally and that any problems arising are dealt with as quickly as possible.
